Its when people doubt me, that I come alive even stronger. Someone made the comment today that my wedding would be a disaster because I didnt have a planner. This person was a family member. Now, here me roar! I dont see the big purpose in hiring someone to tell other grown adults what to do. How to walk down the aisle, not to talk while walking down the aisle and other hoopla. Now I get it, a wedding planner gets some of the weight off of the shoulders of the bride. Seeing the importance of her day, the constant questions and bothering of the bride should be focused on someone else. I get it. But to tell someone their wedding will be a mess is just something a little crazy. I seem to now have this hidden power to continue on with my wedding planning the way it is…..my wedding. Mess and all.

Whoa…it’s seems to have been a while since I’ve blogged. Not like the masses have missed my intellectual deep thoughts on which color pink is the ideal pink or table settings. I vowed to myself that Facebook would not be the bases of all my wedding related fairytale stories( because honestly, I have not had one bad, Bridezilla moment yet) . I handed the torch over to you Tumblr community to hear(or read) those thoughts I so badly want to scream to the world but not to the hundreds of close friends and family; those stories would be of too much annoyance to them. So here we are…the 6 month mark!! Meeting with florist Numero 2 today. Next post will tell you about Number 1 and how the number 3000 should not even match. Well, thanks for talking to me guys..until this afternoon.

Yes I know, I have been slacking very badly. So much going on, not a lot going on. The usual smusal I like to say. Well, my sister has finally given birth to my niece and of course she is gorg!! Now back to the wedding planning. Fun it has been. Stuck in the mud it has also been. Me and the cowboy are on track with our monthly checklist. I was so excited to start bridesmaid dress shopping and that idea was instantly shot down. One person had to do this, one person had to do that, 2 people had to save the world; you know the normal thing that happens when you try to get 6 people together whom have their own lives, their own schedules and their own things to do. For a minute, my wedding turned into ” I wonder if I’m going to be pulling this thing of on my own?” I just came to the conclusion chances are, I am going to be going about this solo. In a sense, I was nervous but I totally underestimated my own ability. I AM ONE CREATIVE CHICK! This is me planning the most important party of my life. I can do this! I know what I like, I know what I want as well as the cowboy so figuring this out will be easy. I’m sure, there will be bumps in the road. You should see my Google Reader subscriptions. Literally 50 plus wedding, diy and craft websites that I have to look at daily in order to feel some inner peace. Well, until tomorrow!!!
